LVPN WALES
About Us
The LVP Wales was started as part of the National Union of Students', Wales’ Further Education Project, which ran from 2010 until August 2013. Since forming, the network has been an effective forum to share best practice and discuss topical issues in the field, within Wales. Within colleges, staff members who help with student representation often have varied titles and roles. But their uniting bond is helps learners to have a voice in their education.
The Further Education Project came to an end in August 2013 and to ensure the continuing support for staff in learner voice across Wales a chair was elected to run the network. Previously it was facilitated by the NUS Further Education Project Officer, Stuart Jones.
The network currently meets in parallel to NUS Wales events throughout the year but it is open to non NUS affiliated colleges and work based learning centres. If you work within learner voice in Wales and would like to attend our meetings and events, please get in contact. Details are below to be added to our mailing list or to contact us directly.
